Chicken Caesar Wrap

Chicken Caesar Wrap

My obsession for wraps is no secret. Perhaps because I’m so preoccupied with carbs. Wraps are merely another method for me to consume my carbohydrates. Really, I’m just as fond of a tasty salad as the next girl. However, if you wrap it in a tortilla, I’m sold!

I’m back now with some more wrap-themed ideas. This one is a salad made with chicken Caesar dressing.

One day, I was raiding the fridge for lunch ideas and came up with this wrap recipe. I wanted something a little more substantial, but I had everything I needed for a quick Caesar salad. Why not make it into a wrap, I reasoned.

So let’s celebrate with some chicken Caesar wraps for lunch!

Chicken Caesar Wrap

Ingredients

  • Lettuce: Because romaine has a lovely crunch and flavor, I prefer to use it.
  • Bacon: Use leftover bacon like this, it’s quite tasty. This recipe can take a few more minutes to prepare if you do need to fry up some bacon.
  • Chicken: Keeping cooked, shredded chicken on hand, like I do, makes this Chicken Caesar Wrap up quickly. Rotisserie chicken leftovers can also be used.
  • Dressing:I opted for store-bought Caesar dressing since it would be inconvenient to prepare it from scratch when rushing to put together a quick lunch. The Bolthouse Farms Caesar Dressing is the bottle sauce I love the best. It tastes amazing and is also slightly lighter and healthier for you.
  • Parmesan: I prefer to use parmesan that has just been grated.
  • Croutons: In addition, I thought it would be entertaining to shred some croutons and insert them into the wrap. I adored the added crunch they gave the wrap.
  • Tortilla: Usually, I just use huge tortillas, the size of burritos. They also produce some really good flavored tortillas, such spinach or sun-dried tomato.

How to Make Chicken Caesar Wraps

There is nothing easier than these wraps!

  • Mix the parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, bacon, and chicken with the lettuce. Mix everything together.
  • Chop the croutons coarsely. then include them into the blend.
  • Spread the filling down the center of each tortilla after giving them a brief microwave blast to make rolling easier. Roll the tortilla over the filling after folding the sides in.
  • To serve, cut the wrap in half.

Tips and Tricks

Although this recipe only makes one dish, it is simple to double, triple, or quadruple it to feed more people.

It’s preferable to consume these right away after preparation. If you make the croutons and lettuce too far ahead of time, they will become mushy. They could certainly make one in the morning to have ready for lunch, in my opinion.

I also like to season mine with a nice pinch of freshly grated pepper.
