Homemade Pumpkin Pie Syrup
I adore preparing coffee shop beverages at home, whether it’s a Matcha Latte for sipping or a Matcha Iced Latte for cooling off. My favorite is the blissful Mint Vanilla Iced Coffee.
I get an instant hankering for everything pumpkin spice as soon as the fall leaves begin to turn color (hello, pumpkin pancakes!). In order to enjoy Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes at home, I’m now producing my own Pumpkin Spice Syrup. Making a simple pot of homemade pumpkin spice syrup with pantry staples that I nearly always keep on hand is incredibly simple.

Why this Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte is Delicious
- The seasonings must be spot on. If you use too much, it will taste artificial and sickly. If it’s too little, you’ll think, “THIS IS BLAND.”
- Make use of actual pumpkin. Pure pumpkin puree is used in this recipe. This along with the pumpkin pie spice make for a very tasty and comforting fall beverage.
Ingredients You’ll Need for an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

The greatest Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes may be made at home with pantry materials. It may be tailored to use your preferred milk and a range of coffee choices. These are the components you will require.
- Brown Sugar – This gives the latte just the right amount of caramel flavor.
- Water –It will improve the texture of our syrup.
- Ground cinnamon –Without fall spices, we cannot enjoy a pumpkin pie spice latte.
- Vanilla extract. Although I usually use my own homemade vanilla extract, you may also use store-bought!
- Pumpkin puree.I prefer to use pure organic pumpkin puree.
- Two shots of espresso: Don’t worry if you don’t own an espresso machine.

How to Make an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
You may quickly prepare yourself for a week’s supply of Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes by first creating a Pumpkin Spice Syrup:
- To prepare the syrup, place the brown sugar, granulated sugar, water, pumpkin purée, pumpkin spice, and salt in a pot and cook for 15 minutes. After another fifteen minutes of cooling in the pan, drain the mixture and whisk in the vanilla essence.
- To create a Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte: Allow your espresso shot to reach room temperature before continuing.
- After that, pour ice into your glass and reserve it for later.
- The iced espresso shot, Pumpkin Spice Syrup, and your preferred milk should all be added to an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shaken until extremely cold.
- Make sure to get that beautiful froth when you pour everything into your glass.

Tips and Tricks
- Making the syrup ahead of time simplifies enjoying Pumpkin Spice Lattes every day of the week. Keep your syrup refrigerated for up to a week in an airtight container.
- Using a cocktail shaker is a quick and easy way to quickly chill your drink, produce a gorgeous froth on top, and clean up afterward. Don’t panic, though; you can still use a portable frothing wand or your blender in place of a cocktail shaker.
- The same syrup works well for preparing a steaming latte. For a hot latte, I find that I only need about 1 1/2 tbsp of syrup, but feel free to use all three!
- Before using any syrup, make sure you shake the bottle or jar.
- Extras: This is made much better with whipped cream and cinnamon on top if you’re looking for an extra treat.
